Villa Hue hotel a combination between Hue Tourism College Luxembourg Development Cooperation. Hue Tourism College has received substantial assistance from the Goverment of Luxembourg as part of its bilateral Development Cooperation Program.

Since May 2000 Luxembourg has provided assistance via its Development Agency Lux – Development to build and equip the school as well as edit and validate a National Training Curriculum.

Luxembourg Development Cooperation also supports a training program, providing yearly grants for a group of 10 promising Vietnamese students and teachers to study abroad at Luxembourg’s Hotel School, the lycée Technique Hôtelier Alexis Heck. The deputy General Manager of Villa Hue is one of the former students to have reaped its benefits. This “twinning arrangement” is carried further by a number of teachers from Luxembourg assisting with short summer classes in certain specialty courses and examinations at hotel schools in Vietnam.

The majority of hotel staff at Villa Hue hotel are second year hospitality students from Hue Tourism College. Once selected will spend 2 months at Villa Hue hotel. They are selected from the subject areas of :

- Housekeeping
- Front Office
- Food and Beverage
- Cookery
